In this episode we are finally able to leave the Isle Of Wight and England behind us and sail for about 48 hours across the English channel to France.
We take you with us on our longest crossing yet and find out how you learn a lot about long distance sailing once you start doing it. After we arrive Kathi reflects on the whole experience.
We also explore a charming french town called Camaret-sur-Mer, go hiking and find a tropical beach – well, kind of.
When we want to continue to Spain, we read on the news that part of Galicia went back into lockdown and we decide to sail a bit longer along the French coastline instead.
We soon reach an anchorage on the Belle-Ile (the beautiful island) in France, before we then again change our minds and make plans to start crossing the Bay of Biscay the next day.
