In the second part of our tiny-home-transformation, we need to wait for a delivery. We manage to order 5 cans of varnish to the local post-office.

While we wait, we take advantage of the closed boat yard to take down and clean our big main sail. We realise that for this kind of project, the lockdown isn’t so bad, because we basically have the whole boat yard to ourselves now. Score!

We also explore the charming town ‘Cowes’ in the rain, take a walk on the beach and later fly the drone over the empty Solent.

During the next weeks, we put a total of 8 coats of varnish on our sailboat’s superstructure and end up with a freshly varnished boat, that almost looks like new.
